Dr. Karam Jaradat, PE
Dr. Jaradat joined Howard University in Spring 2024 and established the Geomaterials Research Laboratory (GeoRL). His expertise spans from multiscale laboratory testing of geomaterials, to advanced multiscale multiphysics numerical modeling using both continuum and dis-continuum frameworks. Dr. Jaradat is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in the States of Virginia, West Virginia, and Michigan. He can be reached at his email.

Mohammad Almasaeid
Mr. Almasaeid joined our research group in Fall 2025. During is masters, he studied the erosion behavior of treated geomaterials using the hole erosion test (HET). At GeoRL, he studies different internal erosion processes of geomaterials under different environmental conditions.
